1956 Seniors PROM AT PENN ALTO, CLASS PICNIC, ARE PROLOGUE TO ACTIVITIES SENIOR SPONSORS Mr. Ashburn Miss Bowman Miss Levan Miss Lowther Mr, Ramsey Mr. Woomer Following the custom of preceding years, the present Senior Class began their activities in the spring of 1955 with the Junior Prom held at the Penn Alto in April and the annual picnic at Lakemont Park in June. An impressive installation ceremony opened the present year on September 28, followed by a record hop in October. During the year the main activity was holding several dances after the football and basketball games. Beaming smiles and eyes glowed in the halls on May 25, Senior Day, with the Senior Banquet, Senior Prom, and Afterglow following on June 5. After twelve years of work and play, ioy and sorrow, the T956 Senior Class attended Baccalaureate Services on June 3, and reached their goal of graduation on June 8.
