The setting of Pajama Game is in a small town in the
Middle West. The workers at the Pajama Factory, in town,
are threatening a strike if they don't get a 7Vz cent raise. Babe
and Sid are in love, but do not want to admit their true
feelings for each other. Finally, their love is revealed, but
soon afterward, trouble develops. Sid is the new superinten-
dent for the factory, so he has to agree with Mr. Hasler, the
boss, not to give the raise. Since Babe is a seamstress at the
factory, she is for the raise and sparks fly between them.
Finally, after a pep rally, a settlement is made with a com-
promise from both sides and the factory returns to normal.
Sid and Babe, get back together, and the factory holds a pa-
