Alton High Pep Club At 3:10 on days of sport events, the bell rings and more than 150 students rush from their last-hour classes to the pep assembly. These Pep Club'members also have regular meetings before and after school and accomplish much to build up school spirit, such as making the posters and banners to hang in the halls before games. Distributive Education is also com- posed of a group of students who at- tend classes in the morning and work at various businesses in the Alton area in the afternoon, receiving school credit for their training. Mr. Ross is the sponsor of this organization.
