Our Student Council is designed
so that we, the students, through the
combined force of many, may help
plan and direct activities at Alton High
School. Representatives are chosen
each year from the homerooms, while
officers are elected after a colorful
campaign which is held in February.
This year the Cc uncil sponsored Home-
coming, offered redbird decals for sale,
sold soda and popcorn at football
games, and sponsored a sock-hop with
Boys' Cabinet and the Girls' Council.
