Future Teachers of America The F.T.A. is a national organ- ization whose purpose is to stimu- late interest in the profession of teaching. This year as a semester project, the club presented shiny, red apples to the teachers at Alton High during National Education Week, They also help at Teachers' Institute, directed by Miss Iewell Sutherland, the sponsor.
