At Alton High, Conducted By the Tatler Staff of 1948 SPRING Basketball season ended. and in its place appeared many ambitious track candidates. The band concert, the reappearance of students on the campus, and the open windows were sure signs of the approaching spring. It brought hopes and plans of graduation: it brought the completion of another memorable year at A. H. S. PEOPLE The people of a school compose its very life-blood. The school board administration and faculty are all of equal importance in providing the youth of our community with the best education possible for the modern day. A Picturesque Tour Through the Three Seasons FALL With fall came the dawning ol a new semester. With fall came the joys and sorrows of another thrilling football season. It also brought new students bewildered at the en- tanglement of room numbers and the maze of hallways. The corridors of Alton High again rang with the laughter of the students anxious to renew old acquaintances and buckle down for another year's work. WINTER Winter was soon upon us in all its majestic beauty. Inside the snow-covered building sat the industrious students deeply engaged in the year's work.
