The Scotchman said to his son, who just

Two years of liberal arts college work is offered
to prepare students for transfer to other colleges and
universities for advanced studies. Opportunity for
two or three years of general training in literature,
languages, the fine arts: natural and physical sciences,
and social studies, is also provided for those students
who, upon graduation., do not plan to continue their
formal education in college.
