Week Raises Students ' Spirits. Homecoming Court — Ellen Geppert, Cassie Schaefer, Michelle Lintz, Debbie Grandcolas, Jilanne Klaus, and Joyce Parker. Introducing our new queen, Jilanne Klaus! Seniors rock to the Newsboys ' beat. Another exciting Homecoming Week ended at Althoff with the dance, parade, and game. At the dance, Jilanne Klaus was named our new homecoming queen with Mi¬ chelle Lintz as the first runner-up. The Newsboys provided an upbeat sound for the dancers. The next morning, the junior and senior powder puff football teams met in another heated game. Once again, the Class of 1986 prevailed! Then the festivities carried over to Main Street where class floats and decorated cars paraded, en¬ thralling all onlookers. Later that evening, the Football Crusaders once again triumphed in their game against the Collinsville Kahoks. 16 The Junior Maids, Kim Grandcolas and Kathy Schmieder, smile for the camera. Juniors love to dance! The Newsboys provide a great musical sound.

Homecoming Parade Shines Saturday morning brought much ex¬ citement to many anxious people await¬ ing the Althoff parade. The school spirit at Althoff was portrayed by the many decorated cars. To heighten the excite¬ ment, many Althoff Crusaders drove their cars around Belleville. This was the main event that pepped up the energy of the Football Crusaders and their fans at the Homecoming Game. Seniors receive 2nd with Roll Em Over Freshmen Roast the Kahoks and receive 4th place. 15
