Now that we arc venturing forth to help build a future of peace and security we present this book as the final achievement of our high school careers. We can look back proudly over an ex¬ cellent record of scholastic abilities, activities and sports. Looking through this yearbook in future years the pictures we see will bring to mind pleasant memories. As we leave our happy and carefree school days be¬ hind, we realize the great task that lies before us — the task of building and maintaining a peaceful world for the generations that are to follow. It is with this thought in mind that we give our heartiest thanks to our parents and teachers for the patience and guidance they have given us these last four years. We hope that we will be able to carry on their highest hopes and reach a place in the world of which they may be proud, since America’s future lies in our hands.
