A.C.H.S. Art Clubs Work to Instill Spirit Perhaps the most colorful of Althoff’s extra¬ curricular activities is the Art Club. This year it has become well organized under the direction of Mr. John Guciardo, head of Althoff’s Art Department. The Art Club is constantly working on posters for various organizations and activities. Their production of spirit—inducing posters has been prolific. In addition, they have produced serious pieces of art, such as the Christmas paintings on the windows of the Meredith Home (see pic¬ ture below), and the Christmas message which they painted onto Althoff’s windows, Joy to All, God Is Come.” They have been great promoters of spirit at all our home games. The Girls’ Art Club, moderated by Sister Norbert, Ad.P.P.S., is primarily in its orga¬ nizational phase. Its primary purpose is to prepare the girls for becoming active in Mr. Guciardo’s Art Club. It has helped to get the girls into the Crusader spirit. SOPHOMORE ART CLUB—front row, left to right: Patti Baker, Jeanne Head. Rosalie Wolfersberger, Janis Rice.
