To freshen every memory We must go back when Freshmen we, To conquer Knowledge were very eager With Harold Mopsik first our leader. Many obstacles we knew we must meet We would have honor before defeat We fought a battle against temptations With very strong determinations, The skies were darkened for us one day We heard exams were on the way Though we were inexperienced and dumb We over Knowledge a victory won. For three months we laid our books aside A vacation to take we did decide Those three months went out like a light And September again was just in sight. Like a dark cloud blotting out the sun, Vacation was over and work to be done. Soon everything was going fine, Our Captain now, Miss Bettie Cline. Like a bree ze the winter months passed Spring had rolled around at last We forgot to remember, in our play Examinations were not far away. In the exciting battle many fell, but The class as a whole came out quite well. Our victory over Knowledge again was won And a glorious vacation soon was done, On September eighth, upon our return To behave as Juniors we soon did learn For Mrs. Giles took the pilot's seat, Bach requirement she expected us to meet. We were highly honored too, that spring Being presented with medals in form of rings. The Junior Senior Prom we can't overlook To entertain the Seniors such care we took.

The Junior play, Mama's Baby Boy Filled us with both pride and joy. Then our pleasures ended with a bound, Examinations again had roliesd around. On our nerves there were such strains, With loads of work for little brains. When on the battlefield well prepared We a war on Knowledge declared. The verdict came like the glowing, sun We a third victory had won. With the battle over, the treaty signed For three short months we then resigned. Who should we find upon our return But Miss Helen Phillips at the stern? Now we found our class: quite small Our boys, by Uncle Sam, were called. Being dignified Seniors at last, Pigtails and dollies were things of the past. With eagerness we resolved to begin, To conquer Knowledge once again. In our studies we had so much fun We hardly realized school had begun. With a manpower shortage, girls took control Even active duty in the Safety Patrol. In every way we were such a success Class pins and cards we proudly possessed. It was the Juniors turn to entertain us, The dance in our honor we long discussed, The faculty's enthusiastic cooperation, Filled us with a great sensation By the help of our classmates too With every encouragement to see us through, Then the war clouds rolled away How we looked forward to that day! We could glimpse our shining goal Graduation was looming over the knoll. We were happy, yet auite sad, For so much fun together we had, A fourth time knowledge was conquered, At last with diplomas we were honored.
