The public undoubtedly noticed the moving of the old public address system in the gym to the football field, which meant that an announcer could introduce football players and preside over Homecoming. Bill Esler was in charge of maintenance: his and Roger Stelbs' jobs included such things as keeping the grounds, repairing school vehicles, and repairing the boiler system. Ellen Esler, Marilla Miller, and Jody Free kept the inside of the school neat, clean, and polished. Mike Sapp helped in a CETA position for part of the year. ,' 2 l ,.f . lf, I-I ,i v, 74.
