HO OR OCIETY The honor society had two main moneymaking projects to earn money for the bleachers on the football field. In October they sponsored a Halloween Carni- val. Not only did the club earn 35100, they pro- vided a service for the community by giving the kids something to do on Halloween. They also put on the annual Hootenany which followed the cir- cus theme. They made 8120. Carol Sapp was president this year and directed both projects. Patsy Jones is the group's adviser. TUDE T COU CIL Student Council coordinated many activities. They set up and ran Homecoming activities. Part of these activities was a Spirit Week competition. Grades 7-12 competed for points to win a day long field trip to the place of their choice. Student Council officers were: President Tim Pearson, Vice President Jim Walter, Secretary Carol Sapp, Trea- surer Debbie Bowen, Sgt.-at-Arms Doug Bowen, and Pub- licity Manager Tina Webb.
