Sports Review In the spring of 1951 graduation and old age claimed a total of four basketball players of the Almo Warrior's starting five. Prospects for the fall of 1951-52 were gloomy indeed. Sonny Lockhart was the only Warrior to be back in school who really had varsity experience. Little Dee Farris had played some first string ball, but very little. Coach Miller has worked with three more boys that have the ability and determination and has come up with a winning five. James Neale, running at forward With Sonny Lockhart has played good ball as has Jackie Burkeen, a very fine rebounder who is filling the other guard spot opposite little Debo. The center position has been left up to Sonny's little brother, Bobby Lockhart, who has filled it very efficiently. Bob stands an even 6' 2 . The Warriors have been given some fine substituting by Max Lovett and Red Connor. There are three Sophomores on our squad which should play some good ball in the future.
