Eulane Burkeen On August 24, 1951, We entered school as the Green Freshmen of Almo High. There were forty enrolled in our class. The class chose Mr. D. J. Miller as their sponsor. We were pleased to have one of our class- mates, Margaret Washer, elected cheerleader. At the beginning of school We presented a B1ackface Minstrel. We were represented in basketball by Jerry Edwards, Marvin Scott, Bobby Schroader, Derrall Lockhart, Eulane Burkeen, Dwain McC1ard, George Clark, Kelsie Hooks, Willie Jackson, Martin Wells and Jackie Thorn. We are looking forward to our Sophomore year.
