AXLPREJJ' CI-I CD l M l I I O ,C ! ll IBAIEIBALI. 1929 UR BASEBALL team again went at its training this season under coach VVinnie Slemmer. By April the team was in trim and they began their season by de- feating Wlyoming Seminary to the tune of 8-5. The positions which the boys played were:- Spotts as catcher, Murtaugh, Smith. Heist were our pitchers Voorhees and Abrahams at first baseg Myers and Siergiej at second baseg Klucharich starred as shortstop, while McFadden held down the position at third base. The outfield positions were occupied by Rhodes, Grande, Headley, Murphy andDisman. The team had a very successful season beating our old rivals Perkiomen by a score of 19-6. We played some of the best Prep. school and college freshman teams in the country losing only three games.
