MEMUlIIDS 4 9 CHEERLEADERS '01 Left to Right-Thelma Carey, Evelyn Thompson, Carolyn Trimble, Jo Ann Brinkley. At the beginning of the school year Jo Ann Brinkley, Carolyn Trimble, Evelyn Thompson, and Thelma Carey were elected cheer- leaders from a group of about twelve girls. They have all had ex- perience in cheerleading: Jo Ann Brinkley, two years in grades and four years in high school, Carolyn Trimble, two years in grade school and one in high school, Evelyn Thompson has three years and Thelma, two years. We think they deserve a lot from the whole school and we also give them many thanks. BASKETBALL SQUAD '00 Left to Right: Front Row-Nelson Reiber, Harold Doane, Larry Potts, Billy Mc- Farland, Don Shepard. Second Row-Donald Price, Gene Johnson, Ron Simmons, Tom Holsen, Don Mann, Jerry Potts, Ryland Webb. Third Row-Mr. Hensley, Bob Adams, George Osman, -Roy Johnson, Don Hall, Bernard McFarland, LaRue .Leek, Stanley Webb, Billy Faith, Richard Breen, Mr. Atkinson. The above boys went out for basketball this year. It was hard to pick the best five because they were all good. This team holds a very good record which was due to the excellent team work and coaching. They have had a very enthusiastic backing all year. We hope the next team has even better luck. .
