Fourth Row-Betty Buchanan, Lois Clark, Mary Ann Prout, Darlene Davis, Irene Mills, Patty Alka, Rose Payne, Kathleen Stoltz, Rosalie Boyd, Pat Litherland, Alicia Beasley. The Pep Club elected Miss Simpson as their sponsor in September. The officers elected were President, Earline Saltsgaverg Vice-President, Diane King, Secretary- Treasurer, Beth Wolfe. There were 40 members in the organization. Scarfs with the Yellow Jacket emblem were purchased by the club members. The club sponsored a Box Social in January to raise money for a basketball banquet. In February the organization sponsored the first basketball queen contest. The candidates were chosen from each class by the basketball squad. They were Senior, Mary Louise Hipsherg Junior, Carolyn Trimbleg Sophomore, Rosalie Boydg Fresh- man, June Couch. The queen, June Couch, was crowned between the halves of the last home game. F. F. A. The Allendale Chapter of Future Farmers of America has increased its member- ship over the previous year. There are 21 members who hold the degree of Chapter Farmers and 15 members who are Green Hands, making a total of 36 members in this organization. The officers in the F. F.
