HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL '00 For the last few years it has been customary for the Juniors to present a Fall Festival for the public. The purpose is to make money for the Junior class which they will u e for the J unior-Senior Prom or for the annual of 1950. On October 29, 1948, the Juniors once again had a Festival. They worked very hard to make a success of it. For weeks ahead they made poster upon poster which, about a week before the final date they put in many store windows. They were very successful in their advertising. On the fatal night many people came into the gym to find it decorated in many ingenious designs. There were many stands such as the bingo stand, ring-toss, cake walk, penny- pitch, etc. Then there was a fortune teller's booth, a ghost house, and come in and see the man who lives under the water! Later in the evening a program was given. June Spray sang It's Magic and My Happiness , accompanied on the piano by Joan Price and on the guitar by Bob Adams. Larry Benham and Bob Adams played Guitar Boogie and Bob Adams sang I'll Hold You In My Arms. Bonnie Mattox, Sue Addis and Gail Cisel tap- danced accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Maurice Dunkel. Beth Wolfe gave a musical reading, Life Gets Tee-jous, Don't It ? . . Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and are waiting with eagerness for the 1950 Festival to arrive. The Juniors profited from the carnival and they wish to thank everyone who in any way participated in making their night a big success.
