JOKES '01 Betty Buchanan: I've added these numbers ten times. Coach: Good girl! Betty: And here are the ten answers. Don Hall: When I see you, I always think of Clyde R. Bert Wilson: But I'm not a bit like Clyde. u Don: Oh, yes, you are. You both owe me two-bits. Coach: Have you ever had any stage experience? Don G.: Well, I had my leg in a cast once. Rose Payne: All that I am I owe to my mother. Betty Thompson: Well, why don't you send her 30 cents and pay up the bill? Snob-Joan Price: My ancestors came over on the Mayflower. Slob-Edith Polk: It's lucky for them. Immigration laws are stricter now. The coach wanted to impress on his class that there was nothing a man could not do if he put his mind to it. Frank Higgins begged to differ. Well, said Coach, tell me and the class what it is. You try to strike a match on a piece of soap, was the answer. Lois Keneipp: June Couch's folk are awfully rich. She says she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Wanda Jackman: Well, if she was, I'll bet it had somebody else's initials on it. Miss Simpson asked: Who knows where elephants are found? Wolfie raised his hand: Elephants, he replied. are so big that finding presents no problem as they hardly ever get lost. Gene J.: Have any of your family connections been traced? June Spray: Yes, they traced an uncle of mine as far as Canada once. Hershey: I was out of town when the class play was given. Did it have a happy ending? - Bernard McF.: Sure. Everybody was glad it ended. Mrs. Lett: Now, will anyone tell me of anything new of importance that has happened during the last twenty years? Jerry Potts: Me. Dick Breen: I can beat you in a race any day, if you let me choose the course and if you give me a yard start. Gene Johnson: UO. K., you're on. What's the course? Dick: Up a ladder. Don Mann, reading facts and figures: Do you know that every time I breathe, a man dies? Harold P.: Why don't you use a little mouth wash now and then? Rose Marie, buying a dog: I like this dog, but his legs are too short. Don P.: Too short! Why, they all four reach the ground. Doe Price: Good heavens, son! Why aren't you at the top of your class once in a while, instead of always at the bottom? Dumb Donnie: It doesn't make any difference, Dad. The teacher talks so darned loud you can hear at both ends.
