Such a thrill it was to us all, the new look as as the part of being a "green" freshman which 'L at , ,V . .I it P gfffljiihipperclassmen often called us. The girls were put the supervision of Miss Satterwhite and the -Qnder Mr. Moye. The first week was a wnirlwind of excitement-meeting old and new acquaintances and selecting class officers to serve through the ap- proaching year. They were chosen as follows, Pres- idents, Dixie White and Henry McPherson, Vice-Pres- idents, Jqyce Jordan and Wesley Craven, Secretaries and Trea urers, Rena Cook and Frank Odell, Reporter, Gladys H I. Pulling hrough our first high school year, we were now readyigto take the next step up the ladder as full- fledged melhbers of the school. Such an exciting occasion for us all. Soon there was the planning f the Junior-Senior Banquet. This gala event had "Ha iian Cruise" as its theme, with Helen Macon and Henry cPherson presid- ing as toastmistress and toastmastert The eight highly honored stud nts chosen for marshals were Charles Hoover, Chie Joyce Jordan, Henry McPherson, Helen Macon, Pau Lawson, Mary Alice Dunlap, Wesley Craven, and Gear ne Van Horn. We can only say we truly oppreciate'the help of each and every one of them who hovrg. pared us thus far. ,W-f-r-'eww ' ,,,wf""'1W,n: it Ww,,.e1v"st"W ll' tfwfwiw I 2 t-fwwww , M ,ti1'ffff'W"'l an it-Q.. - ' ,K ski .WWW f ' i ' itz sw: JM H tjgsii WWW ' ,, 1.."3:t,, M ,sms wwwwldne-'dv en iam ,-.
