I Sopholnorcs wcrc mlloxud onc dancc rt tht cud ol thc school turn l lc c Dance Donald LaBarrc was chairman and thc dance 1 bug succcss for a hrst hlgh school affair made us mlghty proud The year was brought to a closc with the election of Nlarwood Stark as president FlHll'lC Bllllg vlcc presldent Alice Fetzer secretary and Harry Weber treasurer Many mterestlng thlngs happened durmg our unlor ycar lqhc unlor I rom the annual football dance was a great success Although wc had not won the game that year we had tled the seorc sort of brcaklng It gcntly th xt wt meant to wln the followlng year During our unlor year we showcd grcnt progress ID various class teams ln track football marathon basketball and swimming She Wallks rn Her Sleep the class play was exceptionally wcll dom lwhe annual unlor Plcnle Dance at Dorney lark and the unxor ldrohc 1tlVlc xlcy s Audltorlum were both great fun and most prohtable Again the ycar wrs brought to a close with the ClLCtlOD of Donald LaBarre president KHlhCflIlC l leberman vlee presldent Allee Fetzer secretary and Herbert Hilton treasurer of the Senior Class ln the Senior year the falr stand was the hrst task one whlch we undutook with great enthusiasm The usual class play was glven with the usual Joy ln fact xt was declared qulte Oh Kay The Senlors also staged a Chrlstmas Dance the Senlor Hop a Sprlng Dance and the Senlor Soclal Now the year IS almost over It won t be long now' We must however record the success of the Blue Boo Canary and Blue and the COMUS wlth Roy Hoffman as the Edltor ln Chlef of a most able Canary staff and Luther Sehlenker editor of the COMUS The commencement play Captain Applcjacl was put over wlth great enthuslasm Thls play and the annual Senior Farewell were the last affalrs of the class It sounds easy to say that Commencemcnt Day ls herc and that cverybody should be happy But they re not The Seniors are sad at heart to leave thls Alma Mater where they have had so many good times and made such a number of friends And now we step mto a new role no longer Senlors but Alumm taking our places among the other Allllnnl of the A H 9 But the namc Class of 3I WlllStIllCllStlI'1glllSl1 us we shall never forget our days xt Dexr Old Hugh Page I auvleen . .
