JACK PADIAN Co-Captain fvarsit basketball For the third consecutive year the All Hallows Basketball Squad won the Division 1 Championship. Although the team was the smallest championship team All Hallows has ever had Can average of 5' l1"j, they possessed talent in every sense of the word. Jack Padian Q5' 8"Q and Dan Mannix C6' l"j, co-captains, led their teammates to a 20-5 season. There was no one star, all of the starting live of Padian, Mannix, Mullins, Liebler, and Kelly worked together in their all-court press to conquer twenty of their twenty-five opponents. The strain of a long sehedule was shown in the play- offs of the C.H.S.A.A. title contest with St. Simon Stock. There are no excuses given for the loss, but We can say one thing: the team never gave up, they always played a game to the Wire. XV e are especially proud of Mr. King, undoubtedly the best coach in the city, Who, as in previous seasons, instilled the team with a spirit unequaled by any other team in the City. Standing: John Fitzgerald, Richard Barry, YValter Olllara, james XVard, John Brady, James Bean, Bernard Farraghcr, John Kelly.
