Bicycle lub A new addition to Alisal this year. the Bicycle Club was active under the guidance of their advisor Mr. McCarroll, After rnuch delay due to insurance complications, the club organized many rides throughout the valley with more activity taking place in the spring. President Dave DeLair was instrumental in initiating the club. His fellow officers were Vice-President Marilyn Stidolph. Entering in numerous FFA events, the Alisal chapter sent two delegates, Tracie Rose and Debbie Azevedo, to the Regional FFA Templeton and also entered in the King City Fair in livestock judging. President, Craig Andrus, with his fellow officers Chris Brown, David Azevedo, Tracie Rose, Debbie Azevedo, and Jeanette Crites organized the annual King and Queen of Hearts Valentine Dance and the Donkey Basketball game. With Mr. Puterbaugh serving as advisor, the club staged a candy sale to raise funds and then ventured to the Steinbeck House for a field trip with the school's journalism classes. Officers for this club were: president, Pat Amaro: vice- president. Grace Bandongg secretary. Lucy Stone: and treasurer, Pat Bailey. Sweaters, Sensational . . . Bleek A Block A is one of the few clubs which maintains a membership requirement: A girl must have earned her letter before she will be admitted to this prestigious club. With president Susie Simon doing a fine job, Block A held many picnics, barbecues, and parties as time-out activities from sports. Mrs. Camany was advisor for this successful club. l Organizations
