Plays, repamtory . . . mme Club Many people attended at least one of the three drama productions this year. Although the plays were widely attended and wall received. the 495 group mainly responsible was not adequately 4-is recognized. The Drama Club, with Mr. Marquez as advisor and Chris Wood as president. worked very hard this year to make those productions possible. Many hours of hard work in setting. directing, and activing were necessary to stage all the plays, and the members of the Drama Club did more than enough to make those productions T 'K successful. The Drama Club members and their advisor, Mr. Marquez NW' . M.. Solos, Singing . . . Vocal Ensemble The Vocal Ensemble is the elite group of singers at Alisal. Advisor for this L group was Mrs. Helsby. The vocal ensemble participated in many concerts ' this year for both the school and the community. These concerts were held during the fall. spring, and Christmas seasons. This exhibit of musical talent was well received by virtually all audiences, and it is hoped that they can keep up their fine tradition of singing. w. o T - If Q . The California Scholastic Federation is an honor society for students with high academic achievement. Members must qualify each semester. Alisal's chapter of CSF is adivsed by Mrs. Bainter and Miss Albano. Officers are president, Edna Bandong, Vice President. bs Jin Gina Thoeni. secretary. Mary Siababa. and treasurer, Jimmy West. Awaiting the hymn is the Unity is an important aspect in singing. to start an ld favorite Choir. l Voices, arlotlons . . . lrls' Cleo, A Cappella Girls' Choir The Girls' Glee, Girls' Choir. and A Cappella were talented vocal groups which displayed their singing skills throughout the year. Mrs. Helsby, the vocal advisor. was high in praise for all involved with the singing. The groups presented both Christmas and Spring concerts for the enjoyment of the school.
