Besides sponsoring various activities. the student officers were called upon to help decide future policies at Alisal. Phil Dyk served as A.S.B. President. along with Vice- President Cheryl Favero, Treasurer Vicky Teague, and Rosanne Ryburn. They all receive commendation for a job well done. These students were also an integral part of the student body government: commissioners-Bernie Agpaoa, Pat Amaro, Sal Sanchez, Kathy Powell. O I O Once again Alisal entertained a foreign exchange student, and the school chapter of the American Field Service was most instrumental in that project. Also. the chapter participated isa an Exchange Week at which a Turkish student we: hosted for a week long stay at Alisal. Mrs. Van Noy, the advisor, credited fellow officers Sylvia Chacon. DIIQ, oldl ... USCA! The Future Secretaries of America is a nationwide organization which aids interested girls in entering the career of business. AlisaI's chapter of the organization continued to be as vigorous as in previous years. With Mrs. Kirchner as advisor the club held an invitation potluck banquet to induct new members. Also. they sponsored a club Pizza Party for all members. The FSA officers were President Julie Bellone, Vice President Mickie Lineberry, Treasurer Karen Doris, Corresponding secretary Rose Gomez and Recording Secretary Vicki Maness. sf' '46
