Varsity Cinderrmen Shine In Ioumeys AIisal's 1975 track team. faced with a relatively small turnout. struggled throughout the dual meet season, The tournaments. however. were highlighted by some outstanding individual performances. Sophomore sensation Tom Bryan sparkled in two events. the hurdles and the high jump. Weightmen Bob Hopper and Dave Schmidt turned in commendable performances in both the shotput and the discus, while Jim Lucero clocked in as one of the league's top 880 yard runners: Also shining for the varsity cindermen were Tony Taylan, high jumper and hurdler, Alan Cox. sprinter. and Dennis Maduli, hurdler. The varsity squad was co- mentored by coaches John Favero and Andy Allen.
