A Program To Help You Plan Your Future R.O.P. Mr. Whitely arranges an interview. 1- The Regional Occupation Program is a successful way students can obtain a well-paying job while going to school. Many students hmm now entered different professional fields such as Dental Assista nts. Floriculture. Carpentry, Cosmetology. and Retail Merchandising. These students are bussed to different areas: Gonzales High, Dick Bruhn's, Hartnell, and Salinas High. Classes cover for one or two semesters, depending on the depth of the class subject. The classes last for three hours and the students receive ten credits for each semester. When a student is in need of a job Miss Garbarini or Mr. Whitely try and fullfill the need. Students earn credits for Work Experience depending upon -the number of hours worked during the month. I Remember . . . Childhood Reunion Da As Seniors looked back on their crazy childhood days, they became children once more. In the inner- court. such activities were held as the famous tricycle race in which Seniors vied for the chance to peddle to first place. Around feeding time Steve Crain gulped his way towards first in the bottle feeding contest. Other activities were relay races, and jump roping.
