l974 Basketball Homecoming Queen. Princess Julie Azzapardi and Larry Thomas. Princess Lynn Anderson and Duane Anderson. al, -- Oueen Susan Tonus and Bill Giannotti, As the basketball season rolled around so did the excitement of the 1974 Basketball Homecoming. Homecoming was held on February 19th when the Alisal Trojans met the Toreadores of Monterey in the last game of the season. The candidates and their escorts. were: Julie Azzapardi with escort, Larry Thomas, Lyn Anderson with her escort, Duane Anderson: Debbie Douglas with escort John Marsala, and Susan Tonus with her escort, Bill Giannotti. During a half-time ceremony, Susan Tonus was announced Alisal's 1974 Basketball Homecoming Queen. Susan was crowned by Debbie Sartwell. Alisal's 1973 Queen. A Program To Help You Plan Your Future R.O.P. Mr. Whitely arranges an interview. 1- The Regional Occupation Program is a successful way students can obtain a well-paying job while going to school. Many students hmm now entered different professional fields such as Dental Assista nts. Floriculture. Carpentry, Cosmetology. and Retail Merchandising. These students are bussed to different areas: Gonzales High, Dick Bruhn's, Hartnell, and Salinas High. Classes cover for one or two semesters, depending on the depth of the class subject. The classes last for three hours and the students receive ten credits for each semester.
