.-. Literary Appreciation . . . Library uild Promoting interest in books, libraries and reading as a fun activity is the purpose of the Library Guild Club. This year the club participated in the Christmas Door decoration contest and received an honorable mention award. The club is also planning to sponsor Western Week to promote interest in stories and history of the West. The officers are: James Green, president, Kim Camp, vice- president, Joyce Chamberlain, secretary, Reyola Ching. treasurer. The advisor is the librarian, Mrs. Wilson. President James Green commented: l think it is a good club, if we had more members. it would be better. .N , x Li X' RX L :WW Renting and Producing Films . . . Films Club K The Fantastic Raising enough money to rent and also produce their own films kept the Films Club active this year. Making their own film in Carmel during the summer was a hilarious experience and a memorable activity. Their mighty leader was Mr. Foreman advising them in time of need, Dave Banda served as president, Bruce Victorine. vice- president, Sandy Fluttschow, secretary, and Rose Ramos, treasurer. earning to Cope with Life . . . Health Careers Health Careers Club is for young people who are interested in giving part of their lives for helping others. In this club they learn what type of courses they will need to further their education in the medical field. This year the club was lead by Miss Brown. advisor. Sindy Ingram, president, Tina Kong, vice president, Tammy Garner. secretary and Carol Martin, treasurer. When Sindy was asked about the club, she replied: l feel that this year has been another successful year. This club has helped many young people become what they want to be. r Health Career's Club. Electronically Efficient The Electronics Club was quite busy with its many activities this year. the major ones were: developing inexpensive activities that the individual members could afford. Electronics Club Qmembers also repair things for teachers and students which provides the students with experience. Backing Up our Track Athletes Track Interest The Track Interest Club had its share of activities this year at the track and cross country meets. Cheering and encouraging, doing the little jobs that had to be done at the meets were the main function of this club. These jobs ranged from keeping score to raking the jump pits. They also painted and lettered the new name boards that were hung this year. The club officers werei Rosanne Ryburn, president, Jessie Pabros, vice-president, Edwing Worden, secretary. and Michelle Lineberry, treasurer.
