I Believe in Music The Vocal Ensemble is a highly select, small group which represents the Music Department in many concerts for the school and community. These students are given an opportunity to explore music which would not 'be possible in larger groups. The students held many fund raising activities to help pay for their special outifts. The Vocal Ensemble was very proud to have Mrs. DiGiralamo as their advisor. The officers this year were: president, Danny ,,w- Paying attention adds to a better singer. The Vocal Ensemble Group. . . Vocal Ensemble Simpson: Vice president, Penny Bingham: secretary, Sylvia Chacong and treasurer, Gloria Simon. When Danny was asked about Vocal Ensemble, he replied: The Vocal Ensemble is at times a great part in the life of a person who plans to make singing a part of his life. Vocal Ensemble has given me a feeling of satisfaction and comfort. The closeness to my teacher at crucial points of my musical life has helped me find the right way to go to be myself. ournalistic Honors . . . uill and Scroll Quill and Scroll is an international society for young, inspired journalists. lt encourages equality in every aspect of a newspaper production, from the reporting to the final product. The officers included: president, Karen Baily, vice- president, Suzanne Anderson, secretary, Jonetta Chenea, and treasurer, Susan Tonus. The advisor was Mr. Puterbaugh.
