Trojan ' Hey far out man, was the summerization of this year's yearbook staff. given by editor Janice Haydon, who performed well in her maiden year of editorship. Ably advising the class for the fifth year was Mr. Angelo. Helping Janice was Brenda Olds, who worked as a a co-editor of Organizations with fellow co-editor Jessie Pabros and Sindy Ingram, In her third hectic year on the staff, Fay Bradshaw piloted the entire Senior Section receiving minor aid from fellow senior Flon Ritchie. Chris Morales teamed with Valerie Tonus to produce the Activities section. Mike Pura, editor of Boys' Sports worked hard to meet his deadline, as did Karen Doris who covered Girls' Sports, Sylvia Chacon, with creative inspiration from Debbie Sims, led the Classes' section with help from Liz Edu and Esther La Febre. The Faculty section was managed by Jimmy Mazzuca, and Bernadette Agpaoa created an outstanding Ads section, Providing miscellaneous help were: Allen Chinn and Ed Ramirez. Competent photographers were Chris Armington and Mario Amaro, With all of the work completed, a familiar cry rose from the staff-members. Next year will be better, followed by Mr. AngeIo's somber, I hope so. Q,-. 3,--. The Competitive Organization Getting the girls interested in after school sport and creating a unity between the girls was the Girls' Athletic Association's goal. Officers for this year included: Sharon Andrus. president. Terri Bozzo, vice- president, Beth Dyk, secretary, Karen Doris, treasurer, Liz Edu, fund raising, Teresa Gonzales, publicity, and Carol Hale, records, Having this responsibility gave the girls a new insight, since all the sports are now interscholastic. which makes competition stronger. This makes practice twice as hard, Mrs, Camany was always there for a helping hand when things got rough for the girls, Sharon commented: Athletics is an important part of any girI's life. As president of GAA, I Hope that the girls of Alisal High will become more enthusiastic about sports in the years to come. k xiii i l -ii.
