The National Honor Society is an academic organization for outstanding students in their sophomore, junior, and senior year. The club creates enthusiasm for scholarships, develops charactor, and promotes worthy leadership. To be eligible for this organization, a student must maintain a 3.0 average, and a good attendance record. President, Karen Briggs, vice-president, Leonora Sirwet, secretary, Vicky Teague, and treasurer, Mary Kawahira have worked together to make this club possible. L.S.E.P.F Learning the fundamentals of law, salesmanship, economics, and personal finance in a fun atmosphere of conducting activities for the student body was the LSEPF Club. The club was responsible for the staging of the mouth-watering pie-eating contest, the hilarious peanut-pu sh, the competitive wrist- wrestling contest, and many other fund-raising sales. The whole idea was to raise money, then spend it accordingly while being concerned at all times with the comings-and- goings of their money, Paula Howard, president, commented: Under Nlr.
