irls' Swim Team Gains Experience Although the girls' swim team did not win many of their meets, they had a competitive spirit. Their coach, Mrs. Barton, worked diligently with them, while expressing the need for good form. Through the help of the weight machine, made by Mr. Escobar, the girls were able to develop needed strength. Grace In Motion . . . irls' Gymnastics Team Being on a gymnastics team takes a lot of patience. graceful moves, and co-ordination of the body. That is why this year's lady gymnasts performed so well in each of their own events. Summing up the girls' great year was their coach. Miss Little. She stated, This year the gymnastics team really put a lot of effort into themselves. and they were definitely Alisal's finest in all respects. Cited by Miss Little was, Florence Ellevan, a three year member of the team, as well as the rest of the team. which was outstanding.
