L ff ,f 14 MISS DEBBIE ELAM REIGNS AS 19 o HoMECoM1 G QUEE Qn November l3, the Alisal Trojans made their way to the Salinas High School stadium for a very special event of the football season. It was especially exciting for the three class princesses and the five Senior girls who were vying for the Homecoming queen crown. Debbie Andrews, Debbie Anderson, Kathy Conley, Debbie lflam, and Kathy Souza were nominated by the varsity football team and voted for by the student body. During halftime, everyone anxiously awaited the announcement of the winner. It was finally revealed that Debbie lflam was the new Homecoming Queen. She received the traditional roses and trophy and was crowned by the V169 Homecoming Queen, Miss Debbie Collins. M President Richard Gutierrez CLASS OF '74 Vice-President Javier Alcocer Secretary Treasurer Maw Domalaog The freshman class of '74 took Alisal High by storm with enthusiastic school spirit. Aided by President Rich Gutierrez, Vice- President Javier Alcocer, and Secretary-Treasurer May Domalaog, and with back up support from their advisors, Miss DiVall, Mr. Romero, and Mr. Favero, they held a cleansing December car wash. Another high-spirited event was a playful playnight in the spring. Something to spice up the year, a candied apple sale, was added to the list of activities.
