ALI AL LE THER ITH CITY CHAMP ln his first year of coaching the Alisal Cross Country team, Coach Allen led his squads to a fine and respectable season. Both Varsity and Frosh-Soph teams had a slow start but peaked during mid-season. To the Cross Country team, the City Championship is like the Routers' Trophy to the student body. This year marked the fifth consecutive year Alisal has taken the City Championship. The rough and hilly 2.5 mile route on the Jensen Ranch was the site of the big meet. On the wet and mud-slicked course, outstanding performances were achieved in both divisions. For varsity they were Glen Ryburn, Juan Castro, Gary Victorine, and David Stein. For Frosh-Soph. they were Frank Cagle, Chris Jensen, Elliott Lloyd, Erie Stein and Ramon Mendoza. Top Left: Cross Country runners give it everything tht-y've got.
