j.v. GRID TERS COMPILE EXPERIENCE EoR NEXT YEAR The Junior Varsity Football team did not have an impressive season this year, but showed promise for future games. The Junior Varsity, who lost nearly all their players from last year, were plagued with a lack of experience, but performed exceptionally well in each encounter. The offense was led by Freshman quarterback Danny Ross, who did a fine job this year. Ross was backed by hard running backs, Clint Sindel, Paul Speers, Dave Dew, Roy Rede, and Steve Crawford. The players responsible for blocking and opening holes for the backs were Ted Qualls, Mark Thornton, Mark Hoskins, Lynn Miller, Rick Lazzerini, Carl Jarschke, Rex Boesch, and Kenny Wynne. Defensive players that were cited for their impressive playing were Gilbert Campos, Gil Pestone, Clint Sindel, Joe Rodriguez, Mark Thornton, Mark Hoskins, and Bill Diaz.
