Ed Begun. the staff put into production many new ideas and revised some old ones. .Xniongg the many diligent workers were Rosemary Lim. Deadlines were met with great anticipation and were completed with overwhelming relief. The completion of the yearhook was also welcomed with pride and relief hecause no matter what went wrong, it miraculously survived the inspection of the students. some of the goals next year are to produce a hetter working staff structure and a completely satisfactory yearhook. FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR The officers for the Future Nurses Club for 70-71 were M. Harden, President, Barnett, Vice President, P. Walton, Secretary, and D. Latham, Treasurer. The Future Nurses' Club is an organization for those who wish to be nurses. The main interest of this club was to promote interest in nursing and in helping people. One of the fund raising activities for this year was a bake sale. ln the future the Nurses' Club hopes to have more field trips and more girls interested in their club. The purpose of the Chinese Club this year was to study the Chinese culture and to promote a better understanding between the East and West. Using audiovisual teaching aids, lessons in Chinese sounds, syntax, and symbols were learned. Speaking, reading, and writing some simple and common expressions in Chinese were some of their regular lessons. The club was under the guidance of Mr. Lee. The Chinese Club also visited some museums and art galleries in San Francisco.
