Alhambra High School was the first in this area to give its students the on-the-iob voca- tional experience of a Nursing Observation program. Through this program, Mrs. Vickery helps place students into hospitals, and they come into actual contact with patients and nursing staff. This enables the girl to see the inside story of nursing and helps her to decide whether she wishes to continue a career in nursing.
