Mascots earn Basics Of Being Funny The Mascots, this year, did much in raising school spirit. They were dressed to entertain crowds at football and basketball games and at pep as- semblies. Student Government Helps Others Student Government sponsored many activities including Homecoming Spirit week, brotherhood, the 20th an- niversary celebration and career spe- cial days. Many lunchtime activities were also sponsored by Student Gov- ernment. They held dances, candy sales, and flower sales to raise money for school and various community ser- vices. Some of the money was used for charities such as ARCH, Gompers, and March of dimes. Mike Olsker served as Student Body President for the l98l-82 school year.
