Richie, D. Kist, B. Richie. Orchestra led b new conductor The Orchestra was directed by Mr. Mike Orlikoff and their four officers. To be a member of the Orchestra one had to have the ability or will to play an instrument. They met everyday during second hour, and played in school con- certs. The Orchestra had a candle sale to raise money for travel, trophies, letters, and a banquet at the end of the year. They also played concerts at rest homes as a community service. The main character of this comedy was a town bum named Sneaky Fitch, played by Richard McDowell. ln the course of the play, he is considered dead by the townspeople and they are very glad to have this man removed from their presence. Their happiness does not last very long. Sneaky Fitch returns to life during his funeral.
