I 955 Win ter 1952 Freshmen 1953 Sophomores 1954 Iuniors Senior A suggestion of mystery hung over the Winter '55 Class. Every activity hinted of the supernatural from the fabulous vegetables which grew as big as houses to the charcoal gray sweaters resembling a funeral proces- sion. Why, the giant carrots and po- tatoes are still kicking around back- stage to remind future classes of the Winter Class of '55 No one seems to know what to do with such impossible vegetables, Merely because ghosts conversed and the cow Bessy gave magic milk in the senior play hit, Green Valleyff is no indication that this was a be- X witched class The spirit and enthusi asm for Alhambra High School Student Body activities was marked evidence that its members considered school far more fun than the solemnity of their color scheme would suggest. The ac- tive senior council planned a dance after one of the football games, but a proposed picnic was rained out. For a class of only a few more than a hun- dred it had its guota of leaders, ath- letes, scholars, and award winners. W'55 class members seemed to have few worries as they dreamed of their bright future at their senior prom, Stairway to Dreamland
