SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The class of nineteen hundred and fifty one started out with fifty-two pupils In the first grades. Of the original fifty-two pupils Mary Ann Zimmerman; Jean McCreary; Norma Jean Linn; LaVerne Hughes; Gilbert Campbell; and Jimmy Johnson remained. Vhlle many were lost as transfers the class gained Dorothy Cramer; Audrey Ver million; Sue Haney; Louise England; and Charles Shaw We had many Important events In our grade school such as the grade programs we put on every year and the hikes and parties we enjoyed The outstanding event was our sixth grade promotion exer¬ cises when we were promoted to the High School Building. Our next years were made worthy by our clubs. They were F.H.A ; Y-Teens; Hl-Y; music and sports clubs In our Junior year we gave our first public performance’jLeave It To Us,” given October 26,1940, with Helen Sherburn directing. We received our class rings aTvd were real proud of ourselves. Most Qf us were in the Public Speaking Play ”Huckleberry Finn” which we gave February 28,1951. n;e ended our Junior year by giving the Seniors a reception at the Kenton Country Club, Kenton,May 6,1950 »e had an enjoyable evening together.
