bombarded NorTh Korea boTh wiTh The UniTed NaTions EasT CoasT Blockade and
EscorT Force and on gun sTrikes Tram The carrier Task Farce.
lT was wiTh The Sangiin blockade elemenT ThaT The CUNNINGT-TAM meT her
real TesT. On SepTember l9Th, while shelling The coasTal railroad sauTh aT Songiin
The CUNNINGT-TAM was Taken underTire by several CommunisT shore baTTeries

beTween T00 and T50 rounds oT Tire, suTTering Tive direcT hiTs and seven near air
