Nc! .2 Ac! 4 Q ,auf Serum Glen allot! cl FRESHMEN We were really SCDIOFS that IS SCHIOYS rn Junior High School We would rather have been Freshmen 1n Hlgh School though As trme went on we pre sented the play Who Wouldn t Be Crazy and by the tlme ll was completed every one was really crazy' The cast conslsted of Warren Truman Don Blehl Lola Sutton Judy Burdlck Dale Lorow Beverly Hargraves Don Armstrong Russell Allen Joanne Wheaton Marie Cook Betty Snyder and five others who have left The play was drrected by Mr Wlllard After the play was over and a great success we started workxng on the May Frolrc At the dance Arlrta .lohnson and Kenneth Snyder were chosen Duke and Duchess The class officers for thls year were Don Brehl Pres Sylvla Ferry Vlce Pres Lola Sutton Sec and Mane Cook Treas SOPHOMOHES As Freshmen we mlssed our annual class p1cn1c so we declded to hold ll at the begmnmg of our Sophomore year After findmg some Chaperons 'Vlr and Mrs Stucker we all pxled into a bus and headed for the Bath Farr We had a wonderful time rn sprte of the ram and other minor mlsfortunes At the beglnmng of the year wrth Warren Truman as president we declared that we were gomg to make some money We werent golng to be the usual xnactlve Sophomores After much debate we resolved to sponsor a movle Black Bart at the Majestic Thea ter We were a llttle dlsappomted rn the show but we made 350 so who were we to compla1n'7 we antlcxpated even more Thls year was falrly quxet even though we were con stantly holdlng class meetlngs and making them last a whole perlod After we got our class rlngs we were all carrying our hands up ln the alr so everyone could see we were Junrors however as time went on there were a few rlngless Jumors any way ln May we had our Junlor Prom wlth the theme of a troplc lsland Hey who were the wlse ones that took all of the cocoanuts and pmeapples They weren t paxd for yet' Arllta Johnson and Donald Armstrong were chosen by the band as Prmce and Prlncess of the affaxr With Donald Armstrong our class presxdent we dlscussed the possrhxlxty of s onsonng another movle and putting a Juke box or coke machlne ID the cafeterra ut that would have overworked us so we downed rt SENIORS Happy dayl Now all we have to do rs count the good old history as srgnments before the great day of graduatxon Wlth Lola Sutton our class president we started the year off at top speed but xt sure was awful quxet wxthout brg Dale Lorow Bemg Semors surprlses a lot of us It seems llke a b1g dream to us when Mr Gllmore makes an announcement for the Semors and we know he means us It rs a rather superlor feelln not that we carry any concert around wxth us Thls year more and more we are ecommg separate lndlvlduals and most of us are plannmg to o on to college or some sort of school but there are a few of us who are wlse an getting marrled Qurt Your Kxddln was one of the hrgh lrghts of the year along wrth the annual Semor Ball w rch provlded excuses to et out of classes but mostly after school while the decoratlng was gomg on T e day has arrived At last we are on our way, marchlng out of the audltorlum After shed dlng our caps owns and tears 07 we collected what was left of us ln spite of the heat lt wxl seem strange not comlng back next year but we have a stack of swell memones and we know you will too as Semors 21 f' , L 1 'hr ,I .
