"Af f 'X English This year the English de partment introduced an approach to language arts suggested by the National Council of Teachers of English The program is now on a full year basis except the twelfth grade elective courses which are semester classes The courses are designed to develop the basic communications skills of reading speaking listening and writing Other responsibilities of the English department are the Spectrum the Tiger s Tale Dramatrcs and the library Teachers in the Junior High English department are Miss McCammon and Mr. Hulce.
