GIRLS' PHYSICAL TRAINING
Physical education is required of all girls in their
first year of high school. This has been a year of interest-
ing and varied activity under the direction of Miss Mary
Marvlrrt Hash.
Basketball was, as always, popularg baseball interested
many girlsg volley ball and volley ring were used for large
group exercises. Folk dancing developed rhythm and coordina-
tion and tumbling have excellent opportunity to develop
skill and accuracy.
Because of the building and remodeling program which
began on March first, classes were without the use of the
gymnasium. However, class work continued out of doors when-
ever the weather was suitable.
