LIBRARY CLUB The purpose of the Library Club is to assist in improving the library service of the school and to stimulate interest among pupils in reading library books. Every year a Care Book Package is sent to some country abroad. Anyone who may be interested is invited to join the club if they wish. Mohawk The Youth Council works with the Recreation Board and Community Council for the purpose of bettering the com- munity for youth. The Youth Council lias sponsored several Teen Hops with surrounding towns invited. They have also had dances for the students of Alex High. The members are made up of one representative from all the organ- izations in Alexandria. The officers this year are Adrian Anderson, President; Jeanne Wasson, Vice President; Mary Lea Smith, Secre- tary; and Karen Johnson, Treasurer. The advisor is Russ Rolandson. ALHI TIMES The goal of the Alhi Times is to keep the students well informed about the present items of news, to give an interesting variety of features and to give an accurate sports account. The Alhi Times is published every three weeks. The Alhi Times is a member of the National Scholastic Press Associa- tion. Each year the new editors of the Alhi Times are sent to the Minne- sota.
