Christian Youth Fellowship Christian Youth Fellowship held its first meeting October 5. The purpose of our club is to provide bet- ter fellowship among the students in high school. We held numerous parties throughout the year. Meetings are held every other Wednesday noon. The object of our club is to get girls in- terested in nursing or other medical fields. Meetings are held every fourth Monday of the month, often with guest speakers. Members help in the Nurse’s office and with immunizations. Another activity is our annual tea for the mothers. During the year we have toured both local hospitals. Dale Schneiderhan was president of our organization this year with Carroll Hillesland as vice president. Doran Isaacson served as secretary while Ted Steidl held the treasury office. Meetings are held once a month for business and recreation. Eleven of our members went to Kansas City on October 10th for the National Club Conven- tion. During the year we have held an Employer’s dinner, regional meetings, parents night, and roller skating parties. We also have had many guest speakers and sent representatives to state conventions. The purpose of our club is to give stu- dents educational, social, and recreational opportunities that they otherwise wouldn’t have. The officers of our club are Beah Ettesvold, president; Chuck Olson, vice president; Marlys Johnson, secretary; Janice Jensen, treasurer; Kay Sheridan, reporter. The advisor of our club is Mr. Maack. Among our activities are making favors for hospitals, sending a gift chest overseas, assisting the Senior Red Cross Fund Drive, and helping with the Blood Bank. We also inform the community of Red Cross activities. Meetings are held once a month and occasionally on Tuesday noons. Officers of Junior Red Cross are Kay Siemssen, president; Catherine Lange, vice president; Janet Torrey, secretary; Dorothy Sarvie, treasurer. Our advisor is Miss Kiger.
