The following were elected to lead this year' Senior class: Co-presi- dents, Dennis Sherman and Conrad Muzik; Secretary-treasurer, Evelyn Sarvie; Vice-president, Charles Neller. Seniors! We can hardly believe that just yesterday, it seems, we were plan- ning the junior high spring party, the winter party, and the carnival under our president, Bill Tobaben. Ah, yes, we also remember the junior high paper, the Variety, and its memories of work. Sophomores, — that was hard to spell then, wasn’t it? Now we needed no special invitation to attend the senior high auditorium periods or the dances. Under our president, Conrad Muzik, we very successfully sponsored our first big dance, the Christmas Dance, with the theme,‘‘Mistletoe Magic”. We also put on the annual Sadie Hawkins Dance. As Juniors we again elected into office Bill Tobaben as our class president. This was the year of our first class play which was ‘‘A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.” We again put on the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Also, under the excellent guidance of our advisor, Mr. V. Clair Morrison, we sponsored a very successful Junior-Senior Prom and Spring Party with the themes “Twilight Serenade” and the “Maypole”, respectively. The Senior year brought into office co-presidents, Dennis Sherman and Conrad Muzik, which had never happened before in the history of our school. This year started early as our pictures were taken in August. Under the efficient guidance of Mr. Ted Ording, our advisor, we were very busy. Amond our activities were the Alex High Times, the Alexian, Homecoming, and the class play. Christmas came too soon with the band and choir concerts. The exchanging of pictures and calling cards brought us closer to the Prom, the Banquet, Honor Night, and Bac- calaureate. Our final good-bye to Alex High came with Commencement. These wonderful memories of Alex High will long be remembered and renewed with return visits. 14
